Learn to Knit: Scarf/Beanie Knitting for beginners

  • Capilano University 5627 Inlet Avenue Sechelt, BC, V0N 3A3 Canada (map)

Why Attend a Knit Event?

Knit and Crochet's events are not only a great place to meet people but also a great place to learn.

We all learn differently and going to knit and crochet events allow you to be taught by different teachers with different talents.

Come join us to light up the world with creativity, peaceful expression and the joy of making- knitting a scarf or a beanie (if inspired maybe knit both to use in the fall and winter time).

It is just lovely the way knitting/crocheting brings people together - as life sometimes becomes tangled but with a co-knitter around, you may carry on and work past the knot.

About our facilitator:

Kim Fenton will be teaching us how to knit. Kim has been knitting for decades. She is the former owner of a yarn shop where she taught all kinds of folks to knit. Currently, she is the president of the Sunshine Coast Spinners and Weavers Guild, and she looks forward to sharing the love of all things fibre with everyone.
