MCK-Traditional Chinese Beef Dumplings served with Vermicelli Noodle Salad
Dumplings are a classic Chinese New Year food, representing prosperity due to their resemblance to gold/silver ingots or money pouches. Beef Chinese dumplings, known as jiaozi, are Chinese dumplings featuring a flavourful filling of ground beef, finely chopped vegetables like celery or cabbage, and aromatics such as garlic, ginger, and scallions, all wrapped in a thin dough wrapper. They are versatile and can be prepared by boiling, steaming, or pan-frying, and are often served with a savory dipping sauce.
A vermicelli noodle salad is a fresh and customizable dish featuring thin, rice-based vermicelli noodles mixed with a variety of vegetables, herbs, and a protein, all tossed in a flavorful dressing. The refreshing flavours in this noodle salad goes really well with the beef dumplings as a simple, balanced pairing.
Join us and discover the world of flavours with Judy as she teaches us how to make mouthwatering and delightful beef dumplings and vermicelli noodle salad.
