Ghanaian fried rice and chicken is a vibrant, flavourful dish featuring basmati or jasmine rice cooked in savory chicken stock, stir-fried with mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, cabbage), eggs, soy sauce, and aromatic ginger/garlic. It is typically served with crispy, spiced fried, roasted or baked chicken and hot green pepper sauce (shito).
