Just a friendly reminder…

The deadline to file your taxes is on April 30th, 2022.

April 30th, 2022 falls on a Saturday. This means:

Your tax return will be considered filed on time if we receive it or it is postmarked on or before May 2nd, 2022.

Your payment will be considered paid on time if we receive it or it is processed by a Canadian financial institution on or before May 2nd, 2022.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has an online learning tool: ‘Learn about your taxes’, that is specifically for new residents and young people who have never done their taxes in Canada before. It is also a great tool for anyone who needs a refresher.
